PHOTO FOR THE DAY
My friends had to put their girl, Dayna, down on Tuesday. She was diagnosed with cancer and given about 2 weeks to live about 5 months ago. She lived to the impossibly old greyhound age of 14.5 and was still running, albeit slowly, at playdate up until about 2 months ago. We will all miss her and her fighting spirit terribly.

poor girl, RIP... if only they stayed with us longer..
So sad, but now she is running without pain at Rainbow Bridge with all our beloved pets.
It's been five weeks since we had to put Guinness to sleep from cancer at a too-young-for-me age of 11. It still brings tears to my eyes thinking of him... My condolences to your friend, and I bet Guinness is trying to put the moves on her as we speak at the Rainbow Bridge...he always did like the cougars.
What a pretty girl she was! I love the frosting on her face. They must have been doing everything right to keep her around for such a long time! My condolences to her family. They're never here long enough for us!
