WE HAVE SURVIVED

Hello blog. Nice to see you again after our extended hiatus.

The "I Have Survived", Gloria Gaynor song is the new anthem in the Cult house, for both human and dogs.

In the past 4 months we have survived:
-A house sale
-A move (across town) with related packing, yard sales and cleaning
-A sister's move (to Chile) and my father's move (across the country) and related packing, yard sales and cleaning
-A severe illness
-A surgery (unrelated to the illness)
-The gem show
-A poisonous spider bite
-And the dog issues, which include: A lacerated pad (Breeze - requiring surgery), the reopening of the pad after it healed (Breeze - another surgery), corns (Breeze), a fungal infection (thought to be Valley Fever, but turns out it may possibly another fungus) in 2 dogs (Angel and Dru - 3 primary vet visits before diagnosis and treatment) now requiring daily meds, limping which was diagnosed as severe arthritis (Willow), and a rabies scare involving all 4 dogs after they found, and most likely played with like it was a squeaky toy, a dead bat in the new back yard. (Thankfully the bat was so mummified it couldn't even be tested for rabies and the dogs were all current on their rabies vaccines. Though they still had exams and a new set of rabies boosters.)

-And we have found Instagram. Oh boy. A bit of an addiction, that.

Add it all up and it equals - no new postings since January.

So a few Instagram shots, to get back in the swing of things.

The boy, Angel, (center) feeling like his old self again. Dru to the right, Breeze to the left and Willow hiding in the back.

The boy on the left and Breeze on the right, sharing the bed. A minor miracle.

Breeze. How is that even comfortable?

Oh, my goodness. That list makes me want to cry. It's good to hear from you, and I hope things are quieter.

OMD that is a lot of stuff that you have been going through. Thank God the rabies scare is over. Yikes a dead bat. Hope all is well for you all now. Have a marvelous Monday.
Best wishes Molly
